The dark center is what sells it. Moulded from soft polyurethane rather than printed silk, each 2.7-inch bloom has the slightly damp, matte petal surface of a real anemone, in a deep true red that photographs beautifully against white.
Built for DIY
Bendable wire stems shape and trim with regular scissors. Scatter red anemones through a white or ivory bouquet for high contrast, or mass them alone in a low bowl where the black centers read as a repeating graphic pattern.

Are these anemones or poppies?
Both names are used for this bloom. Botanically it is modelled on the anemone – the black center is the giveaway – but it is very widely sold and searched for as an artificial poppy, so you will see it listed either way.
What pairs best with Red?
Ivory and white roses, dark burgundy peonies, and eucalyptus or olive greenery. Stunning against a white gown or winter greenery.
Are these suitable for use around children?
